On 4 December 2017, Dr. Davaasuren Sodnomdarjaa, Chairman of the FRC attended the bell-ringing ceremony to mark the opening of the trading session of Mongolian Securities Exchange (MSX).

The FRC pursues a policy to promote fair competition in securities market infrastructure by means of improving the competitiveness among securities trading, clearing and settlement institutions. The FRC accordingly licensed MSX - Mongolia's first private securities exchange- in July 2015.

In October 2017, the FRC approved the request of “And Energy” JSC - an electrical installation company - to issue IPO on the MSX. The company was authorized to register as a public company with registering 78.1 million ordinary shares /a share worth of MNT1/ and offer 66% of the total shares to the public.

The MSX started its first securities trading with “And Energy JSC”s IPO to raise MNT1.6 billion which resulted in initial trading expectation by 186%.

There were some other officials from the FRC attending the ceremony – Bayarsaikhan D., Vice Chairman, Jambaajamts T., Chief of Secretariat, and so did Lkhagvajav B., Chaiman of the Board and President of the Mongolian National Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and Bars T., Chairman of the Board of “And Energy” JSC.
