Dr. Davaasuren Sodnomdarjaa, Chairman of the Financial Regulatory Commission of Mongolia visited the Japan Exchange Group (JPX) during her official trip to Japan.

The Japan Exchange Group is a financial services corporation that operates multiple securities exchanges including Tokyo Stock Exchange, Osaka Securities Exchange, Japan Exchange Regulation and Japan Securities Clearing Corporation.

During her meeting with Mr. Yoshihiro Isaka, Executive officer of Tokyo Stock Exchange, Osaka Securities Exchange and Member of Board of Directors of the JPX, Dr. Davaasuren Sodnomdarjaa shared views on the current conditions of Mongolia’s capital market, present challenges, regulatory policies, mid-term strategy and prospective cooperation with the JPX. Mr. Yoshihiro Isaka, in return, noted on Japan’s similar road to the development of capital market and the JPX’s interest in mutually beneficial collaboration.

In addition, potential cooperation on raising capital and launching IPO in the Japanese market, opportunities of dual listing of Mongolia’s major joint stock companies to be listed to the JPX and in-house training at the Tokyo Stock Exchange for the FRC’s inspection officers have been discussed.

Thereafter the meeting, delegates from the FRC visited the Tokyo Stock Exchange.
