On April 13, 2015 Financial Regulatory Commission jointly with German Agency for International Cooperation (GIZ) organized a discussion on “Mitigation and Prevention of Systemic risk”. 

Internationally well-known scientist and researcher, the honored guest of GIZ, Prof. Beatrice Vedyer Di Mauro presented the “Reduce of the systemic risk: In which critical level are we reaching”. And Prof. B.Munkhzaya a scientist of Financial Board Department of Institute of Finance and Economics also presented the “Current situation of Mongolian financial system and its potential risks” during the joint discussion and workshop.

Prof. Beatrice Vedyer Di Mauro has noted that Government of Mongolian has too much debt and should improve the debt management and Dr. Dr. h.c Stefan Hanselmann Director of Integrated mineral resource initiative program of giz has warned that decreasing the mortgage down payment of 30% to 10% would cause even further difficulties in the Mongolian economy.

Participant of the joint discussion reached over 60 delegates from financial market participants and regulatory organizations and has been discussed different questions and inquiries.
